My postdoctoral research will move from the theoretical critique developed in my PhD to the practical construction of decolonial tools. My next project, "The Epistemic Auditor," is designed to address the urgent problem of "Generative Extraction"—the risk of AI perpetuating colonial patterns of knowledge erasure.
This work will pioneer an AI-assisted methodology for decolonial discourse analysis. The core of the project is the development of the "Decolonial Curriculum Rewriter" (DCR), an LLM-powered tool designed to help educators and policymakers identify and reform the hidden colonial logics in their own texts.
This project will involve developing new skills and applications in:
Large Language Model (LLM) Fine-Tuning
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Architecture
Computational Social Science for Critical Discourse Analysis
A pilot phase will lay the groundwork for a larger program aimed at building a suite of open-source, decolonial AI tools for scholars, educators, and communities.
