I'm an agricultural economist (MSc, University of Malawi) with a PhD in Geography from the University of Glasgow (2025), and a former Visiting Scholar at Cornell. I've worked across FAO, WFP and UNDP, and I work in English, Chichewa, Tumbuka and Tonga.
I help investors, agribusinesses and development finance institutions understand what the spreadsheet can't show: how policy, smallholder supply and local data actually behave on the ground.

Research
Alongside advisory work, I research how knowledge, data and AI shape agrarian governance in Africa. I am a 2026–27 Bayreuth Academy Fellow (Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence), working on The Epistemic Auditor: governance-by-design for AI in agricultural education and advisory systems.
